Biography

Iram Dewitt Lewis (born 3 May 1965) is MP for Central Grand Bahama since 2017. Former Olympic sprinter - competed in 1996 and 2000 Summer Olympics on 4x100m relay team (personal best 100m: 10.20s). Born in Freeport, son of Reverend Aram Lewis. BA and Bachelor of Architecture from Tuskegee University. President of Grand Bahama Amateur Athletic Association (2015). Served as Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture under Minnis (March-September 2021). Left FNM for Coalition of Independents in April 2025, becoming first sitting MP to represent COI.
