Biography

Robyn Lynes

Our community faces real challenges—from flooding and coastal road safety to ensuring our young people have the support they need to succeed. My focus is on addressing these issues with thoughtful planning, community engagement, and practical action that improves everyday life for families throughout the constituency. For me, leadership means turning community concerns into real solutions that strengthen Killarney for the future.

Flooding throughout the constituency

Robyn Lynes is committed to addressing this issue with practical, community-focused solutions that protect residents and strengthen local infrastructure.

Coastal Road Safety

When there is a sea surge, sand often covers sections of West Bay Street, a busy coastal road, creating dangerous driving conditions. Addressing this issue properly will improve safety for motorists and residents who rely on this important route.

Youth Academic Support

As Gambier Primary is the only public school within the Killarney constituency, students in grades 7–12 must travel outside the community for high school and academic support. Expanding after-school assistance, tutoring, and academic support services within Killarney will help ensure students have the resources they need to succeed.

Key Initiatives Delivered and Ongoing in the Constituency

Delivering measurable progress through action, accountability, and continued commitment to our community.

Keeping Killarney Clean Initiative

Organizing roadside cleanups and assisting residents with clearing overgrown trees and shrubbery when they reach out for support.

Seniors Connect Program

Establishing a check-in system for seniors who live alone, while providing food vouchers, fresh produce, and companionship to ensure consistent follow-up and care.

Backyard Farmers Initiative

(Upcoming) Partnering with local farmers, including farmers from Andros, to provide backyard farming starter kits for seniors and families, supporting food security and community sustainability.
