Biography

Dr. Charlene Reid Morris is a healthcare professional, entrepreneur, and former public servant. She served as Deputy Chief Councillor of the City of Freeport, Grand Bahama, representing East Grand Bahama for eight years.

Born in Nassau, she has strong family roots in Eleuthera and San Salvador. Dr. Reid Morris brings a deep national pride and community-centered perspective to national service and political life.

She is the founder and head practitioner of Easy Dental Care, a multi-island dental practice with offices in Grand Bahama, New Providence, Exuma, and Abaco.

Dr. Reid Morris began her professional journey in the Pineridge community, where she opened her first dental practice. She remains deeply grateful to the people of Pineridge for their trust and support in helping her establish her career and build the foundation of what is now a growing Bahamian healthcare brand.

She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2003 from the University of Havana’s Dental Faculty in Havana, Cuba. She is fluent in Spanish with conversational proficiency in French.

Beyond her professional career, Dr. Reid Morris has a long history of civic and community service.

She is a Distinguished Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Freeport, a former dental representative of the Grand Bahama Medical and Dental Association, and an advocate for community wellness and youth development.

She regularly hosts health fairs, leads outreach initiatives, and participates annually in Christmas Day food and toy distributions for children and families across Grand Bahama.

Committed to education and empowerment, she operates an in-house scholarship programme for aspiring healthcare professional. She also manages an online e-commerce business, reflecting her dedication to entrepreneurship and innovation. She is an avid reader. A wife and proud mother of three, Dr. Reid Morris continues to serve her community with passion, integrity, and a firm belief in the power of service to transform lives.
