Biography
Dr. André Rollins is an accomplished orthodontic practitioner, public servant, and leader with decades of professional, academic, and civic experience in The Bahamas and the United States. He has operated a successful solo orthodontic practice in The Bahamas since 2004, following advanced clinical training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at Tufts University. Dr. Rollins holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law and is a Master of Arts candidate in International Relations at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. His academic background also includes a Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from Boston University.Beyond his clinical career, Dr. Rollins has made significant contributions to public service. He served as Member of Parliament for Fort Charlotte from 2012 to 2017 and held key leadership roles including Opposition Shadow Minister for National Security, Chairman of the Gaming Board for The Bahamas, and Government Whip in the House of Assembly. He has also served as President of the Bahamas Dental Association and held numerous academic leadership roles during his studies.Dr. Rollins’ career reflects a deep commitment to professional excellence, national service, and leadership development, grounded in both global training and a lifelong dedication to The Bahamas.
