His business footprint spans multiple sectors and islands, including directorship of an international shipping company that provides vital transport services to Eleuthera and other Family Islands. With a reputation for innovation and local empowerment, Rickey’s businesses have become engines of opportunity in the communities they serve.

Rickey Mackey’s impact goes far beyond commerce. A trusted community figure, he has served in nearly every civic organization on Harbour Island. His civic roles include serving as a District Council Member, Chairman of the Licensing Authority, and appointed Justice of the Peace. He has also chaired the Harbour Island Junkanoo Committee and the North Eleuthera Regatta Committee, playing a pivotal role in preserving cultural traditions while promoting local economic activity.
