Under his leadership, The Bahamas continued critical maritime boundary delimitation negotiations with the United States. He also initiated a Ship Riders’ Agreement—a comprehensive maritime security arrangement with the Turks & Caicos Islands, highlighting his commitment to safeguarding Bahamian waters.
