Jamahl Strachan
Nassau Village · New Providence
Biography
I am Jamahl Deangelo Strachan, a son of this soil, a father, and a public servant seeking once again the trust of Nassau Village. I stand not with entitlement, but with experience, clarity, and an unshaken commitment to serve. For me, leadership has never been ceremonial; it is operational. It requires discipline in planning, courage in execution, and accountability in outcomes. Communities do not advance through slogans; they advance through systems, strategy, and sustained advocacy. I have listened to families speak plainly about safety, employment, and opportunity. I have stood beside seniors who built this community and want assurance it will not be neglected. I have engaged young people whose potential is undeniable but whose access must be expanded. These voices do not fade when campaigns end — they become mandates that guide the work ahead.
